end of year bash - charity event - Saturday 14th March 2009 Bury Ladies Circle with Bury Round Table hosted an 'End of Year Bash' tied in with a local charity cause which recently came to our attention. Matthew who is 5 years old has been diagnosed to two types of Leukemia (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) and Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). He has had to undergo 2 years worth of intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatment in six months as opposed to the normal 2 years. Matthew is now at home, but in isolation. We managed to raise funds to provide him with some entertainment (namely a Nintendo Wii). As you will see below, we had a good night with various little games to help fill the coffers. See below (Dean and Mandy being presented with the Wii by Ladies Circle Chairman Kim and Bury Round Table Chairman Christian. Many thanks to all those people who made the effort to attend and thank you so much for your contributions during this obviously lean time. |

circus training at clitheroe 552 (aka scatter night) Well, here are the photos from our recent trip to Clitheroe and their circus training night. About 40 tablers turned up to be trained in various areas (no fire-eating sadly !) Cracking night !
